He’s widely regarded as one of the most influential and skilled rappers in hip-hop history. He’s Big Daddy Kane
coming to Jannus Live. The Daddy will whip up a frenzy in the courtyard in another edition of Old Skool First Friday.
He was born Antonio Monterio Hardy and raised up in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. From the git, BDK established his talent for spitting tricky rhymes fast and aggressive, whether a boast, a street story or an ode to black consciousness. His list of classic rap songs and hits is a long one: “I Get the Job Done,” “Set if Off,” “Ain’t No Half-Steppin’,” ” Word to the Mother (Land),” “Long Live the Kane,” and lots more.
Over the years, Big Daddy Kane has remained a gale-force rapper and maintains a rep as an electrifying entertainer with super-slick dance moves.
Tickets for this show are a lo-do $15. Doors open at 7.

I won tickets on Wild 98.7 FM before they switched to Wild 94.1 for Young Jeezy @ Jannus Landing in Aug of 2008 which the show was cancelled, I was told Jahfari Promotions will Honor those Tickets at their next event!! Needless to say, after 2 yrs Jahfari Promotions have the Biggest Show of the Year GUCCI MANE! I was told by promoter and Jannus Live Associates my tickets will be honored if I submit the actual ticket the day of Gucci Mane Show, I was rudely turned away picking up my lip as the Rude Ladies @ the Door informed me that THOSE YOUNG JEEZY TICKETS ARE 2 YRS OLD, I informed her I am aware of that, I inquired ahead of time of the reimbursment of tickets due to YOUNG JEEZY SHOW being cancelled, I WAS SCREAMED AT TELLING ME DID YOU HEAR ME THOSE TICKETS WERE FOR LAST YEAR!!! Amazed I turned away, even though I could of paid for GUCCI MANE tickets the way I was treated I would go to a JAHFARI PROMOTIONS SHOW IF IT WAS FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
