Candlebox has been one of the most enduring bands to emerge from Seattle in the early 1990s, and one of the reasons why is because they were not tethered to the city’s mythic grunge scene. All along, Candlebox has marked their own course, created their own sound.
After enjoying multi-platinum success in the 1990s — notching such sturdy hits as “Change,” “You,” “Far Behind” and “Cover Me” — Candlebox members went their separate ways for awhile.
A Rhino Records compilation prompted the band to reunite in 2006 and they have played consistently stirring shows ever since.
Candlebox showed an affinity for Jannus Landing, delivering rousing sets in the courtyard. We are pleased to have them back — performing at the upgraded venue.
