Cinderella (Canceled)

CANCELED

Sorry to all you classic rockers out there, but Cinderella has canceled its show at Jannus on Nov. 9. Please understand this was not a Jannus Live decision. The show was booked by an outside promoter. All we know is that the promoter was not able to make full payment to the band. Refunds are available at point of purchase.

One of the linchpins of the 1980s glam-metal scene, Cinderella has endured legal, interpersonal and health issues to remain a vital touring act. Importantly, all four current members — Tom Keifer, Eric Bittingham, Jeff LaBar and Fred Coury — date back to the band’s nascent period in the early/mid-1980s. Word out there is that the band is playing with a renewed fervor — as if given a new lease on life.

Cinderella’s impressive list of classic rock hits includes “Nobody’s Fool,” “Somebody Save Me,” “Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone),” “Coming Home” and others.

Finally, a rock n roll band is playing here. Was beginning to wonder if we’d ever see some good rock bands here again. Hopefully TESLA makes the list before their “shiprock” cruise!

Chris 3:52 pm - 10th August:

These guys have never disapointed me live… Still sound great. The disapointment is they haven’t put new music out in almost 15 years.

Dave 7:29 pm - 13th August:

Pitbull Toddler is opening for Cinderella??!! Are you kidding me! No offense to those guys but this area boasts some REALLY good bands that would give a left you know what for that gig……

Dave 7:30 pm - 13th August:

Tesla would rock also!!!

Romanov 8:13 am - 14th August:

Saw Cinderella at House of Blues Orlando last weekend, couldn’t believe how great they were! At 49 years old Keifer must’ve found a way to do time travel, he looks and sounds like it’s still ’86…in a good way. Why they don’t come out with new studio material is a shame.

Romanov 8:16 am - 14th August:

Pitbull Toddler??? C’mon Jannus! Why do you embarrass yourself like this????

Don 11:47 am - 14th August:

Cinderella tore up the House of Blues. What a great show! Thanks

Robert 1:54 pm - 14th August:

Pittbull Toddler? What a joke. They are a big fat nothing band. You should have a national act opening for Cinderella.I guess it’s who you know that gets you on stage at Jannus instead someone with talent having the chance to play there.I hope they get booed off of the stage.

Julie 2:20 pm - 11th September:

Does anyone have any idea what the difference is between the regular GA ticket and the VIP balcony? I’m coming out for the cruise and would like to catch Cinderella one more time!

Thrown Alive 9:04 pm - 21st September:

I Like Cowhead, but there are a lot great bands out here who work their rear-ends off, dedicating their lives and making numerous sacrifices to bring the people great music.

This local slot should be left available to area musicians who worked to deserve to be there…

Scot 9:06 pm - 26th September:

WTF! Pitbull Toddler??! Why do you choose to be this insulting of your Paying customers? For God’s sake!

Scot 9:27 pm - 26th September:

I didn’t realize that you could pay to play at Jannus Landing? Because surely to God you are not PAYING Pitbull Toddler? You are pro’s at disgusting your local fan base! …… so many other truly worthy local bands here????

brtne 12:09 am - 3rd October:

As if CInderella isn’t bad/old enough… Pitbull Toddler?? I mean come the fuck on. Really? What kind of name is Pitbull Toddler anyway. Is it some kind of freaking joke?…. Please Jannus Live, let’s hear something current that will bring some more modern crowds. This venue used to have some great acts, but what the hell happened?!

David 10:38 am - 12th October:

I was thinking about going until I saw some of Pitbull Toddler’s youtube clips, they are ridiculous

R 12:44 pm - 16th October:

I guess none of you ever heard of free radio promotion by having them open. The fact that none of you guys with bands realize this and accept it…..is probably why none of your bands have gone nowhere.

Dave 7:17 pm - 22nd October:

Look what I started…jeez! Hey look people, if Janus wants to sell out to some crappy band for free advertising then so be it. @R…We know the game, its BS and so is Pitbull Toddler!! So, go ahead and keep insulting the fan base, thats a great way to fill the house. The people know what they want and if Janus doesnt cant see that then shame on them! Just cause you build it DOESNT mean the people will come. If they put just one local band in there for an opening slot the fans would be talking about it forever, and that kind of publicity you cant buy!

Dave 7:25 pm - 22nd October:

One more thing @R, do you think Pitbull Toddler would be “anywhere” if those guys werent dick jockeys??? If you do then you’re a joke too!

FSUKXAZ 7:24 am - 26th October:

Just skip the opening act and go see the real rock stars. Cinderella is awesome live. Like a few of you, I saw them a few months ago at the House Of Blues in Orlando (My favorite venue) and they were awesome. Like awesome, as in just as good as they were back in the 80′s an 90′s. This Tuesday night show should be lmost as good. The acoustics won’t be like the HOB, but they still will be pretty decent at Jannus.

Maverick 5:44 pm - 27th October:

i saw tesla at the original janus and they were great. Seen cinderella about 4 times and i’ve never been disappointed. Yes pitBullToddler is opening and they are the best band but i am a big fan of cowhead show. Bad thing about this is tue night. i haven’t bought tickets yet because i live over an hour away and have to work wed. morning but we’ll see.

bummed 7:17 pm - 1st November:

First Great White w/ Jani and now Cinderella—

I’ll never see the “new” venue….oh well–

I

bummed 7:22 pm - 1st November:

oh and by the way…cowhead …pleeze..

shut up and play music already..that’s why
I have XM…don’t have to listen to these
jocks….by the way…metal is alive and well
on Sirius/XM

Mitch 12:15 pm - 2nd November:

That is interesting considering they did a free show in Columbus Ohio this summer. It had to be more than just money in my opinion.

Keith 12:45 pm - 2nd November:

Son of a F*cking B*tch!!!! This pisses me off!!!! Was supposed to see them a few years at House of Blues with Poison and they cancelled that damn night too!!!!

andrea 1:54 pm - 5th November:

I am disappointed again!

Mike 2:26 pm - 8th November:

I know these wanna-be “promoters” and they are quite the bunch of losers. It’s no surprise to me that this show
got canceled. I hope Cinderella at least got their 50% deposit…they deserve that at the very least.
