Surfing. SoCal. Good music. Donavon Frankenreiter comes from a tradition that dates back to the Beach Boys and runs up through Jack Johnson, who happens to be one of Donavon’s closest friends and a long-time musical collaborator.
Frankenreiter’s breezy pop-rock (including elements of folk and blue-eyed soul) with a hippie-fied flavor — dig the moustache — has been charming fans since he began his solo career in the early 2000′s. Before committing full-time to music, the artist spent time on the professional surfer circuit. Donavon Frankenreiter is sure to send out the love vibe to an adoring crowd at Jannus Live.
Tickets for Donavon Frankenreiter are $21 advance, $25 day of show. Doors are at 8 p.m., show at 9.
