“Girl Talk shows are not to be missed…” — Citybeat
Mashup maestro Greg Gillis is known as a laptop-toting provocateur, a soldier of sampling, a plunderphonics
visionary, a pioneer of “fair use,” or, as the New York Times referred to his music, “a lawsuit waiting to happen.” Cool, but how is he live? We’ll let Citybeat pick up that thread?
“There were all the usual tricks that accompany a Girl Talk show: people grinding on stage, Gillis jumping around like a man possessed and ritualistically derobing, rolls of toilet paper and glowsticks flying over the crowd. What a Girl Talk show lacks in ambiguity, it makes up for in sheer energy. No matter the feelings of anyone coming into the show, Girl Talk allows the crowd to release all inhibitions and let loose…”
Any way you splice it, it’s a party.

One of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. Going to the show in Orlando and I think one as well! Nothing can top the energy of a GirlTalk show!
Girl Talk is amazing live. As a native to Pittsburgh I got to see him in the early days at clubs and bars. Recently saw a show at the 930 Club in DC and will see him next week at the Sweet Green Festival in MD.
You dont want to miss his show. You will dance your butt off.
Is this show sold out?!?!?!?!
