Without a doubt, blood has been spilled over a quarter century of concerts at Jannus Landing/Live. But this time it’s for a good cause. And it’s voluntary.

In honor of National Volunteer Blood Donor Month, Jannus Live is presenting a free concert.

The Florida Blood Services Bloodmobile will be on site from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Those who donate blood will get a free draft (after donating) and a free FBS T-shirt.

For people too squeamish to give blood, cash donations will be accepted.

Music starts at 6. Several top-notch Bay area bands have volunteered their talents: Tres Bien, Mighty Mongo,  Jeremy Thomas Band, Geri X, Will Erickson, and Paint the Town Red.
