Fiddy’s back! It’s been quite a spell since the superstar rapper has played Tampa Bay, and this will be his first performance at Jannus Live.

Focusing on a more intimate, unique experience for his fans, The Invitation will feature 50 performing hits spanning his multi-platinum catalogue and most recent platinum selling album Before I Self Destruct. The Queens rapper will be joined on select dates by openers Monica, Soulja Boy, Tell’Em and G-Unit cohort, Lloyd Banks.

The man born Curtis James Jackson III and raised in Queens, N.Y. has sold 15-million albums worldwide in a career that saw his hard-guy image resonate with the mainstream. A child of the bleak streets, Jackson sold drugs as a kid, and turned those experiences into vivid, unrelenting hip-hop poetry.

As of 2010, 50 Cent is a certified legend. Billboard magazine ranked him the 6th best artist (and the No. 1 rap song artist) of the 2000s. His most recent album, Before I Self Destruct, topped the Rap and R&B/Hip-Hop Charts and was Top 5 on the pop chart.

During his Jannus Live set, he’ll perform from his long list of hits “In Da Club,” “In Da Hood,” “21 Questions,” “P.I.M.P” and many others. He’ll also perform tunes from his forthcoming new album, Black Magic.
