The summer just got hotter. Caliente, muy caliente. Jannus Live introduces its Latin Series with a concert by salsa singer Michael Stuart on Saturday, June 5. And to get the courtyard hotter still, the debut Latin Series show is free with a ticket (available through Tickemaster, use above link).

Michael Stuart was born in New York City to Puerto Rican immigrants.  Although he soaked up the hip-hop and soul music of the urban streets, he maintained an allegiance to his Latin roots and set his sights on becoming a salsero. After earning valuable experience as a backup singer for the likes of Marc Anthony and Johnny Rivera, Stuart broke onto the scene as a solo act in the mid 1990s. His passionate, exuberant tenor voice glides over the percolating salsa beats.

Stuart has enjoyed a fruitful career, becoming a major star in the U.S. Latin market, with numerous hot-selling CDs and singles and a bucketload of awards.

Tickets are free WHILE THEY LAST. Originally, this show had been designed as a Ladies Night with free tickets for women, but we figured, why discriminate based on gender? Guys, log on and get your free tix as well. People without tickets will be admitted to the courtyard — if it is not at capacity.
