This Sunday, July 15th, Jannus Live is proud and excited to welcome reggae legend Beres Hammond back to the courtyard. A Jamaican native, this exceptionally talented singer/songwriter has maintained increasing popularity for the past three decades with countless reggae hits, including “I Feel Good”, “Sweetness”, and “What One Dance Can Do”. Throughout the years. his laid back and soulful classic reggae sound has remained unique and unforgettable – a pleasing blend of island melodies, spiced up with smooth blues and jazz influences, that always gets the crowd feeling good.
Touring with Beres Hammond is 9Tomorrows, an “alt-reggae-dance-rock” experiment sure to tease the musical tastes of many. The band consists of David Kellogg and Stephen Helvig on guitar, Dax Young with the vocals, and Jai Bowie on bass. Each has a unique and extensive musical history, allowing for a fusion of talent that produces a professionally complex yet laid back reggae-rock sound.
Positive vibrations are a guarantee this Sunday at the Jannus Live courtyard. Doors are at 7pm and the show is at 8pm. See you there!
