Hey, let’s do it again. The first Rusted Root show at Jannus Live in May was such a success we figured we had to. The Pittsburgh world-pop band put on a rousing two-hour show that left the crowd ecstatic. If you missed it, DO NOT miss this one. There’s just something about the band’s show that works so much better under the stars than indoors.
2010 marks the 20th year for Rusted Root, a hard-touring six-piece out of Pittsburgh, Pa. that has carved itself a lasting niche in the world/jam scene. The group’s hooky, percussion-heavy sound brims evokes a optimistic energy. Their lyrics evoke utopianism, environmental consciousness and overall good vibes.
Rusted Root started out indie, cranked out a few hit albums and singles (including the anthem “Send Me On My Way”) in the ’90s. Performing is the band’s staple, though, and they’ve become a much-loved headlining act — lifting, stirring and charming audiences throughout the world.

Hi Eric,
This is regarding the free tixs for Rusted Root meet and greet—- ready to be rocked like they touched us in May!
Thx
Loved the root since 1994. Help me through college. Cant wait for tomorrow!!!!
I would LOVE to see Rusted Root and the wife and I would be there in a heartbeat if the tickets weren’t through ticketmaster. Refuse to give them any more money and damn sure not going to pay a 30+% “ticket fee”. Especially when I print my own tickets and then they also slap ads all over them that you can’t opt out of printing. Get another ticket vendor and I’ll be there on a regular basis.
For Bingo: Simply go to the Pelican Pub or Detroit Liquors as you have been able to do for years & buy tix, service fee free, for shows @ Jannus Landing.
Also, for a very small handling charge Daddy Kool Records on Central.
