“The Pit” Show Report by Eric Snider
Fiddy came. Fiddy conquered. I’ve never seen a hip-hop show last nearly two hours, but that’s what went down Wednesday night. Basically one party anthem after another. Fiddy, Lloyd Banks and another G-Unit sidekick shared the stage for most of the show, even breaking into some vintage R&B with the help of a band.
Apparently, 50 Cent didn’t get the memo that Florida tends to be a little toasty in the summertime, because he hit the stage wearing a jacket. After the first song, he shed it, though, and flipped it into the crowd. As concert souvenirs go, not bad.
Before the show, at 4 p.m, 50 Cent and his cohorts sat down in their dressing room for a webcast interview with La Loca from radio station The Beat. Her bubbly personality quickly opened Fiddy up, and he ended up answering questions — both from Loca and fans via Internet — for more than a half an hour. He was intelligent, thoughtful and frank. And, I might add, seemed like a very nice guy.
Craziest move by members of the audience: A couple of guys in the upstairs VIP area threw 200 $1 bills over the balcony and into the crowd below. Making it rain.
Below are a few photos from the backstage interview.

The Show was truly Amazing! I can’t wait to see another show at Jannus. The bass was bumpin and the crowd was jumpin all night! Might I add all the beautiful women, even the employees!
I never thought I’d see a rap concert but I have to say this was awesome! Can we say stamina? I mean this guy just put everything he had into it for 2 hours! We were in the balcony area, the suites were amazing and our waitress made serious bank I’m sure! she was great! I’d do it again for sure! Welcome back Jannus!
