More About Jannus Live
Jannus Live, an open-air music hall, was established in 1984 to bring reggae and punk shows to the Tampa Bay Area. The venue was only open to local bands upon opening. In December 1987, Red Hot Chili Peppers was the first major act to visit the downtown St Pete live music venue, Jannus Live. In 1989, the band returned to the site, almost causing it to close due to numerous fines for noise ordinance. Enjoy our photo gallery to get a taste of our legendary music courtyard.
The downtown st pete live music venue is now the place to host mid-sized rock concerts. Club Detroit is part of the venue. The balcony can accommodate more than 200 people and has seven VIP suites. Upstairs, there is a separate bar as well as an expanded party deck at the back. A separate nightclub is also available at the venue.
The Crystal Head Vodka Lounge is located on the balcony. It can hold approximately 200 people and has a great sound system. The Captain Morgan Party Deck, a VIP area on the ground floor, offers excellent views of the stage.
